Fiction Guidelines: Supernatural horror, dark science fiction and cross genre short stories. We want plot driven fiction with clean, lean prose and a minimum of descriptive decoration. Stories should be creepy, chilling, haunting, taut. Blood and gore are ok if used well. Some don'ts: no abuse of children or animals, no copyrighted characters, no vampires, no grindhouse, true crime or serial killers. We only accept previously unpublished stories. Prefer electronic submissions. Up to 5,000 words. Pays 2½¢ per word.

Art Guidelines: Interested in wide variety: art photography, articles with supporting photos, illustrations, cartooning (Big Daddy Roth style, CARtoons early monster-hot rod matrix, Coop). Query ONLY with digital copies. Do not mail work unless requested. Pays 2 copies upon acceptance.
