Job Opportunities

No, we don't have any paying positions. This is a small operation, with just a few advertisers and a few bookstores carrying us. Currently, this is a two person enterprise. We do most of the writing. We do get a few submissions, but frankly it's very hard to find people who write on the level we are looking for, so it's better to do it ourselves. We also do all the layout and graphics. We sell the ads, contact distributors, work with bookstores, contact book-DVD-music producers for review copies and interviews, do the research, and on and on. Everything that must be done, the two us do.

So, we are looking for other people with a love for all things scary, spooky, and gruesome who would like to take part in this venture. We are open to people who want to write, design, cartoon, research, network, review, promote, etc. Although our magazine is small, it distributed across the US and even to a few points internationally. So it's a way to get your work out to a lot of people.

Will this ever lead to a paying position? We feel confident it can. Seeing our magazine on bookstore racks next to Fangoria has been a thrill, and with the work we are putting it, we have every expectation that the magazine will be a success.
